Q: What is trichoptilosis?
A: Trichoptilosis is commonly referred to as "splitting of hairs at the ends" or "split ends". It is typically caused by excessive use of chemicals, heat or grooming and gives hair a feathery appearance. Keeping the ends of your hair conditioned, routine hair cuts and careful grooming habits will help improve the appearance of your hair, but nothing completely prevents split ends.

Q: What is a hair transplant?
